Shipping and delivery
Free Shipping: Provided on orders over a certain amount based on current promotions.
Non-Refundable Shipping: If shipping was paid by the customer, the fee is non-refundable unless the wrong item or a defective product was received.
For Norwegian Customers
There are no customs duties for Norwegian customers, as we include our VOEC number on all packages to Norway, ensuring no additional taxes or duties are required upon delivery.
For EU Customers
We offer three shipping options for EU customers, depending on the order value and shipping route.
IOSS Priority Express (For orders under ā¬150)
- Shipping fee: ā¬30
- Delivery time: 3-7 business days
- Shipped from our Jaipur production unit
- No customs handling fee and VAT is included at checkout and will be declared via IOSS
Priority Express (For orders above ā¬150)
- Shipping fee: ā¬55 (ā¬30 shipping + ā¬25 customs handling fee)
- Delivery time: 5-10 business days (due to customs processing)
- Shipped from our Jaipur production unit
- VAT must be paid at customs on arrival by either Brahmaki or you. If you pay, you will be refunded.
Standard Shipping from Sweden (all order values)
- Shipping fee: ā¬15 flat
- Delivery time: 20-25 business days
- Shipped from our Sweden office
- No extra VAT or customs fees (all taxes handled before final delivery)
Why do priority orders have additional fees?
Due to EU regulations, IOSS only applies to orders under ā¬150. For orders over ā¬150, additional customs handling fees (ā¬25) are required to process VAT at customs. These fees cover necessary compliance costs for international shipping.

Customers in countries such as the US, Canada, Australia, and the Middle East should check their local regulations regarding customs duties and import taxes.
We recommend consulting local customs authorities or online resources for guidance.
For UK Customers
For customers in the UK, we offer both priority and standard shipping. Please note that duty and customs charges are not included
Delivery Responsibility, Loss, Damage and non claimed Packages
Once an order is shipped with tracking information, responsibility for delivery lies with the shipping carrier and you as a customer. Brahmaki does not cover losses or theft of packages (unless you have insurance)
Customers are responsible for monitoring the package and paying any customs or duty charges as required by their local authorities.
If the package is not claimed and sent back to us a fee of 40ā¬ will be charged to cover the expenses for shipping and handling. We ask you to be aware that receiving the package is your responsibility. Please make sure you enter a valid e-mail address and also that our emails don't end up in the spam folder. We send multiple emails along the process to keep you up to date ā¤ļø
Lost Packages and Claims
If a package is lost, we offer the option to ship a replacement at 50% of the original order value. This amount covers the loss of materials, production, and shipping costs.
At Brahmaki, we pour love and care into every piece we create, and we want your order to arrive safely in your hands. While we do everything possible to ensure a smooth delivery, unforeseen events can sometimes occur during transit.
If you purchase insurance, your order will be fully protected against:
- Lost in transit ā If your package doesnāt reach you.
- Marked as delivered but not received ā If the carrier says itās delivered, but itās missing.
- Damaged orders ā If your package arrives in an unsatisfactory condition.
- Theft ā If your package is stolen after delivery.
- All claims must be submitted within 30 days from the shipping date.
- The shipping date is determined as the day the carrier picks up the order from our facility.
- Claims made after 30 days cannot be processed under this insurance policy.
If an order is lost, stolen, or damaged and insurance was not purchased, we still want to help. We will offer a replacement at a reduced cost, covering 50% of the original order value, which includes fabric, production, and shipping.
- Orders cannot be canceled or refunded if lost.
- If you prefer a refund instead of a replacement, 50% of the order value will be deducted to cover fabric, production, and shipping costs already incurred.
We believe in taking responsibility for our part of the journey, but once an order leaves our hands, it is in the care of the shipping carrier. While lost and undelivered packages are rare, they do happen. This insurance ensures that no matter what, youāre covered.
Insurance must be purchased at the time of order and cannot be added after the order is shipped. Please email us if you wish to add insurance to your order .
