Non-Water Care for Modal Fabric:

Steam Refreshing: To freshen up modal fabric between washes, you can use a garment steamer. Hang the garment on a hanger and pass the steamer over it, maintaining a suitable distance to prevent direct contact with the fabric. The steam helps to remove wrinkles and eliminate odors, leaving the fabric refreshed.

Fresh Air Refreshing: Another non-water care option is to hang the modal garment in a well-ventilated area with fresh air. Choose a location where there is a gentle breeze or good airflow, such as an open window or a shaded outdoor area. This method helps to naturally eliminate odors and freshen up the fabric.

Washing Instructions for Modal Fabric:

Machine Wash or Hand Wash: Modal fabric is generally safe for both machine washing and hand washing. For machine washing, use a gentle cycle with cold water. If hand washing, fill a basin or sink with cool water and add a mild detergent suitable for delicate fabrics.

Delicate Cycle and Mild Detergent: When machine washing, select the delicate or gentle cycle with cold water and use a mild detergent specifically formulated for delicate fabrics. Avoid using bleach or harsh detergents that can damage the fabric.

Gentle Agitation: Whether machine washing or hand washing, handle modal fabric gently to prevent stretching or damage. Gently agitate the garment in the soapy water, ensuring not to wring or twist it too vigorously.

Rinse and Squeeze Out Water: Thoroughly rinse the garment with cool water to remove any detergent residue. To remove excess water, gently squeeze the fabric without wringing or twisting it excessively.

Air Dry: Modal fabric is best air dried to prevent shrinkage and maintain its softness. Lay the garment flat on a clean, dry towel or drying rack away from direct sunlight or heat sources that may cause fading or distortion.
