Brahmaki Terms and Policies

 

1. Refund Policy

Please use our return center on the website or email order@brahmaki.com to initiate your return or exchange https://www.brahmaki.com/apps/parcelpanel-returns/

We offer a full refund within 30 days of the order being delivered, provided the item is returned in good condition. 

  • After 30 Days: Refunds, exchanges, or claims are subject to approval by our customer service team.

  • Approved Cases: May receive a partial refund (up to 50%) or an exchange, depending on the issue and the provided documentation (photos/videos).

  • Refund Coverage: Refunds apply only to issues related to tailoring or production defects, not wear and tear.

  • Wear and Tear: Not covered, as each customer’s use and care differ.

  • Non-Refundable Shipping: If shipping was paid by the customer, the fee is non-refundable unless the wrong item or a defective product was received.

If a full refund isn’t possible, we encourage you to consider selling the item on second-hand platforms, as our pieces maintain good resale value.

Please note, that we can only process refunds to the original payment method used for the purchase. This policy is in place to prevent fraud and ensure a secure transaction process.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate manual refund requests or process refunds to alternative accounts or payment methods. Our system is designed to automatically handle refunds in a secure and efficient way, and we do not have the administrative support to manage exceptions manually.

2. Return Policy

  • Free Returns: Available within Sweden, Canada, and the United States for returns made within 30 days of delivery.

  • After 30 Days or for Other Countries: Customers must cover the return shipping costs or have our team arrange the return, with the cost deducted from the refund. 

  • Important Information for Returns Outside the EU

    If you live outside the EU and your package was shipped from our unit in Jaipur, India, please note that returning it directly to Sweden will result in an additional €35 customs fee (or more, depending on the product value). This fee will be deducted from your refund.

    To avoid this charge, ensure that you select a shipping option where your package is dispatched from our unit in Sweden. By doing so, your order will be classified as an export, and no import fees will be applied when it is returned to Sweden.

Conditions for Accepted Returns

  • The item must be in resellable condition, free from any strong scents (e.g., perfume, smoke) or signs of damage.

  • If the item is not in resellable condition but can be sold second-hand, we may offer a partial refund (up to 50%).

  • Important: Please do not ship items back without confirmation from us. Unapproved returns may be rejected or not refunded.

    Cost of return

3. Exchange Policy

 

We offer free exchanges and shipping if:

  • The wrong size, color, or style was sent.

  • The product received was defective.

Important: If the wrong size was ordered due to customer error, the return shipping and new shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

  • Customers should carefully review our size charts and recommendations before ordering. While we’re happy to guide you, size recommendations are general guidelines and may not guarantee a perfect fit.



4. Shipping and Delivery

 

Shipping Information

  • Free Shipping: Provided on orders over a certain amount based on current promotions.

  • Non-Refundable Shipping: If shipping was paid by the customer, the fee is non-refundable unless the wrong item or a defective product was received.

For Norwegian Customers

  • There are no customs duties for Norwegian customers, as we include our VOEC number on all packages to Norway, ensuring no additional taxes or duties are required upon delivery.

For EU Customers

We offer three shipping options for EU customers, depending on the order value and shipping route.

  • IOSS Priority Express (For orders under €150)
    • Shipping fee: €30
    • Delivery time: 3-7 business days
    • Shipped from our Jaipur production unit
    • No customs handling fee and VAT is included at checkout and will be declared via IOSS
  • Priority Express (For orders above €150)
    • Shipping fee: €55 (€30 shipping + €25 customs handling fee)
    • Delivery time: 5-10 business days (due to customs processing)
    • Shipped from our Jaipur production unit
    • VAT must be paid at customs on arrival by either Brahmaki or you. If you pay, you will be refunded.
  • Standard Shipping from Sweden (all order values)
    • Shipping fee: €15 flat
    • Delivery time: 20-25 business days
    • Shipped from our Sweden office
    • No extra VAT or customs fees (all taxes handled before final delivery)

Why Do Some Orders Have Additional Fees?
Due to EU regulations, IOSS only applies to orders under €150. For orders over €150, additional customs handling fees (€25) are required to process VAT at customs. These fees cover necessary compliance costs for international shipping.

For Non-EU Customers

  • Customers in countries such as the US, Canada, Australia, and the Middle East should check their local regulations regarding customs duties and import taxes.

  • We recommend consulting local customs authorities or online resources for guidance.

Delivery Responsibility, Loss, Damage and non claimed Packages

  • Once an order is shipped with tracking information, responsibility for delivery lies with the shipping carrier and you as a customer. Brahmaki does not cover losses or theft of packages (unless you have insurance)

  • Customers are responsible for monitoring the package and paying any customs or duty charges as required by their local authorities.

  • If the package is not claimed and sent back to us a fee of 40€ will be charged to cover the expenses for shipping and handling. We ask you to be aware that receiving the package is your responsibility. Please make sure you enter a valid e-mail address and also that our emails don't end up in the spam folder. We send multiple emails along the process to keep you up to date ❤️

Lost Packages and Claims

  • If a package is lost, we offer the option to ship a replacement at 50% of the original order value. This amount covers the loss of materials, production, and shipping costs.

  • Shipping Insurance: 

    Brahmaki Order Insurance – Peace of Mind for Your Purchase

    At Brahmaki, we pour love and care into every piece we create, and we want your order to arrive safely in your hands. While we do everything possible to ensure a smooth delivery, unforeseen events can sometimes occur during transit.
    To offer you extra security, we provide an optional shipping insurance at checkout for €15.

    What Does the Insurance Cover?

    If you purchase insurance, your order will be fully protected against:

    • Lost in transit – If your package doesn’t reach you.
    • Marked as delivered but not received – If the carrier says it’s delivered, but it’s missing.
    • Damaged orders – If your package arrives in an unsatisfactory condition.
    • Theft – If your package is stolen after delivery.

    If any of these situations occur, Brahmaki will send you a replacement order at no additional cost.

    Claim Submission Deadline

    • All claims must be submitted within 30 days from the shipping date.
    • The shipping date is determined as the day the carrier picks up the order from our facility.
    • Claims made after 30 days cannot be processed under this insurance policy.

    What If I Don’t Purchase Insurance?

    If an order is lost, stolen, or damaged and insurance was not purchased, we still want to help:
    • Brahmaki will offer a replacement at a reduced cost, covering 50% of the original order value, which includes fabric, production, and shipping.

    Can I Cancel or Request a Refund for a Lost Order?

    • Orders cannot be canceled or refunded if lost.
    • If you prefer a refund instead of a replacement, 50% of the order value will be deducted to cover fabric, production, and shipping costs already incurred.

    Why Do We Offer This?

    We believe in taking responsibility for our part of the journey, but once an order leaves our hands, it is in the care of the shipping carrier. While lost and undelivered packages are rare, they do happen. This insurance ensures that no matter what, you’re covered.

Important Details on Insurance

  • Insurance must be purchased at the time of order and cannot be added after the order is shipped. Please email us if you wish to add insurance to your order .



5. Quality Assurance and Tailoring Issues

  • If an item has tailoring issues or defects, customers must provide proper documentation (photos/videos) and return the defective item to qualify for a full refund, including all shipping costs (initial and return).

  • Please ensure the item is returned in a condition that can be inspected or resold if necessary.

  • General wear and tear or damage caused by improper care are not eligible for refunds.



6. Product Preferences and Care

 

Product Preferences

If you have specific preferences about color, fit, or fabric, please contact us for extra photos or details before purchasing to ensure satisfaction.

Product Care and Material Information

Our fabrics are made from premium eco-friendly materials such as Tencel™, Lyocell, and Modal from Lenzing AG. These materials are known for their softness and breathability but can absorb scents and stains easily.
